
Mrs. Kudlacek's, Mrs. Francois's, and Ms. Snyder's class had a glow day for math review today! They practiced all their 4th grade math concepts and are ready to “show what they glow” on NSCAS next week!











Mrs. Mallory's AM & PM preschool classes took a field trip to the Gretna Fire Museum! They then walked to Peterson Park to play! Not much can beat a day filled with fire trucks and parks!

📚 What an Amazing Visit! 📚
We extend a heartfelt thank you to the talented author Aaron Reynolds for gracing our school with his visit today! 🌟📖 His passion for books and writing truly shone through, captivating our students and sparking their imaginations. 📝

Mr. Diaz’s class were assigned a continent in small groups in social studies. The students used research books and Pebble Go on iPads to research their continent. They completed information sheets and drew posters for their projects and presented their information to the class!











🌞🌑✨ Our 3rd through 5th-grade students had a blast watching the eclipse today! They learned all about this cool event and had a great time exploring the wonders of space. 🌞🌑✨

The GES 4th Grade students were able to enjoy their field trip to the state capitol building and Schramm Park today!

This week, 3rd grade had some special visitors to help them learn about social studies. Elsie’s grandpa, Jim Warren, came to talk about his time as the mayor of Gretna. Mrs. Diaz and Mrs. Lilla came to talk about owning a business.





Students in 3rd-5th grade at GES used spheros over the past couple of weeks to explore, innovate, and create while learning more about computer programming. The smiles say it all!
